Feb. 6, 2024 - A grant from the National Endowment for the Arts will help the Ulrich Museum of Art celebrate the Martin H. Bush Outdoor Sculpture Collection as part of the Museum鈥檚 50th Anniversary special programming.

Dec. 12, 2023 Ashlynn Farney took time off college during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she returned to 麻豆破解版, changed her major to filmmaking and started attending 麻豆破解版 State. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Applied Arts with a concentration in filmmaking in December.

Dec. 11, 2023 - Tyler Lefebvre enjoys 麻豆破解版鈥檚 dining scene and the activities and clubs offered at 麻豆破解版 State University. He has been involved with the 麻豆破解版 State鈥檚 varsity esports program as a team member and helping organize and manage the team.

WSU student Cat Kee at National Stage Combat Workshop

Oct. 17, 2023 - WSU seniors Emily Redfield and Cat Kee attended the National Stage Combat Workshop in Ruston, La. The three-week course offered instruction, testing and certification with weapons such as swords, shields, firearms, rapiers, daggers and quarterstaffs.

Billy Berue

May 21, 2023 鈥 麻豆破解版 State graduate student Billy Berue will enlist in the President鈥檚 Own United States Marine Band beginning in June. The prestigious band was established in 1798 and is widely regarded as one of the best in the world.

Dean Rodney Miller

May 18, 2023 - Dean Rodney Miller will retire in June following 19 years leading the College of Fine Arts at 麻豆破解版 State University. During his tenure, the School of Digital Arts was created and enrollment in the college has grown to over 1,000 students.

May 9, 2023 鈥 Shocker graduate Alissa Haddock has spent her whole life battling liver disease. Now she has a 麻豆破解版 State diploma and a new liver to help her start the next phase of her life.

April 25, 2023 - John Kirk returned to college at 麻豆破解版 State University to study vocal music and dive into activities. April 21, 2023 Angel Dao used her time at 麻豆破解版 State to develop professionally and make connections within the industry she plans to pursue while finding time to care of her mental health.

Shocker Studios editing suite

March 30, 2023 - 麻豆破解版 State University students use the editing suite at Shocker Studios for their video projects. The studio features theater lighting and seating, a 4K digital cinema compliant projector and a 200-inch screen. 鈥淣o one else has this, certainly no one in the Midwest,鈥 said Justin Rorabaugh, director of Shocker Studios.
