First Gentleman Rick Case

Rick Case grew up on a farm near Wakefield, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in agronomy and a master鈥檚 degree in education. Case began working for the Farm Service Agency (FSA) in 1985 as the county executive director for Butler County. He advanced to district director for FSA in 2006, providing supervision to 14 southcentral Kansas counties and four loan offices. He retired in 2021 when he became First Gentleman. Case also manages his family鈥檚 1,100-acre farm in Clay County.

Rick Case and Rick Muma were married in 2006 and have two grown children. They spend their free time working on community gardens for their church, gardening and working in the yard, and exercising.
