Location

Parking

Parking is available for you directly south of Wilner Auditorium. for directions to Wilner Auditorium. Click here for more information about Visitor Parking at WSU.

Attire

Please wear clothing that鈥檚 comfortable, easy to move in, & no flip-flops. 

Lunch

Your $20 registration fee pays for lunch.

8:30 am Check-in
9:00 am Welcome
9:30 am Students attend a class with current students that gives a greater understanding of performing arts 
9:30 am Parents/guests attend presentations from Financial Aid & Advising
11:15 am Learn about the different programs we offer 
12:00 pm Lunch
1 - 5 pm

Classes, Auditions, & Interviews will be scheduled in 15 minutes time slots after registration. To help you prepare, see details below:

Acting (BFA)

  • 1:00-2:20pm - program overview/class
  • 2:30-5:00pm - auditions
    • prepare 2 contrasting 1 minute monologue pieces

Theatre Studies (BA) 

  • 1:00-2:20pm - program overview/class
  • 2:30-5:00pm - interviews
    • come prepared to discuss your interests in Theatre & other areas of study.

Musical Theatre (BFA)

  • 1:00-2:20pm - program overview/coaching sessions
    • All students should be prepared to perform a monologue & sing two 32 bar songs.
    • Bring double-sided sheet music in a 3-ring binder.
    • An accompanist will be provided.
  • 2:30-9:00pm* - program auditions/interviews 
    • When auditioning for the musical theatre program, you will also be considered for the Acting and Dance programs.
    • * End of the day is based on the number of auditions & interviews. This may extend past 5:00pm. based on your timeslot.

Dance (BFA/BA)

  • 1:00-2:20pm - plan to attend contemporary technique class.
  • 2:30-5:00pm - perform an audition solo and interview with dance faculty.

Design & Technical Theatre (BFA)

  • 1:00-2:20pm - program overview and tour of Wilner Auditorium
  • 2:30-5:00pm - program interviews 
    • Bring portfolio/samples that show your work
