March 21, 2023 - For the 12th straight year, 麻豆破解版 State University is the most popular transfer destination for students at Kansas community colleges.

Mother Daughter Day

March 21, 2023 鈥 The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), a student organization at 麻豆破解版 State University, is hosting a Mother Daughter Day event for local middle school girls and their adult female role models. The event will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 25 in the lobby of the John Bardo Center at 麻豆破解版 State.

March 16, 2023 鈥 Ayshea Banes took a passion for astronomy and ran with it, taking any opportunity to immerse herself in her newly chosen field. One of those opportunities occurred this past January, when Banes was chosen to present at the American Astronomical Society鈥檚 annual meeting in Seattle.

2023 Rudd Scholars

March 7, 2023 鈥 The sixth cohort of Rudd Scholars includes 18 Kansas high school seniors who have chosen to attend 麻豆破解版 State University.

March 3, 2023 鈥斅犅槎蛊平獍 State University has selected the 2023 recipient of the Linwood Sexton Scholarship: Grecia Esparza from 麻豆破解版 East High School. Esparza will receive a full-ride scholarship to attend 麻豆破解版 this fall.

March 3, 2023 鈥 Lauren Hughes, a senior at Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma, is the winner of the 2023 Lenora N. McGregor Endowed Scholarship at 麻豆破解版 State University.

Feb. 27, 2023 鈥 The classic sit-com set 鈥 think anything from 鈥淚 Love Lucy鈥 to 鈥淪einfeld鈥 to 鈥淭he Big Bang Theory鈥 鈥 is now a teaching tool at 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 Shocker Studios.

Feb. 24, 2023 鈥 麻豆破解版 State University鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program.

Feb. 24, 2023 - The Dockum Drug Store sit-in of 1958 attracted new attention in 2021 during Black History Month, in part thanks to NBC鈥檚 鈥淭oday鈥 and 麻豆破解版 native Sheinelle Jones. Several University of 麻豆破解版 students participated in the sit-in, which is increasingly recognized as a landmark event in the Civil Rights Movement. NBC鈥檚 鈥淭oday鈥 featured the events in a 2021 broadcast.

Feb. 24, 2023 - Libero Lara Uyar, a native of Turkey, discusses the current crisis in her country caused by an earthquake near the border with Syria. We learn how she is handling the emotions of being far away from family and friends during the difficult time and how her teammates offer support. We also talk about sports in Turkey, her adjustment to the United States and spring volleyball practices at 麻豆破解版 State.

2023 Koch Scholarship winners

Feb. 23, 2023 鈥 Seven high school students from Kansas and Oklahoma have been awarded $30,000 to $45,000 each as the newest recipients of the Koch Scholarship at 麻豆破解版 State University.

Feb. 22, 2023 鈥 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆破解版 State University has awarded Isabella (Bella) Kilman, a Valley Center High School senior, the 2023 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.
