Fairmount College Staff Awards
The Fairmount College Staff Council recognizes that all exempt and non-exempt employees play a vital role within their departments, the college and the university, and it has developed two awards to recognize outstanding staff members. Each awardee will receive up to $1,500.00 towards professional development training.
The Fairmount College Ripple Effect Award acknowledges a staff member's unique level of service to students, the department and Fairmount College. This award recognizes individuals who make an impact at the college level. The following criteria are that the staff member:
- Consistently goes above and beyond their job requirements
- Exceeds expectations on a regular basis
- Takes initiative and shows dedication
- Exhibits a high level of commitment to students, department and college
The Fairmount College Excellent Service Award acknowledges appreciation for coworkers who make a difference at the department level. The following criteria are that the staff member:
- Maintains a high-quality level of service to a Fairmount College department
- Creates positive and productive relationships among colleagues and/or students
- Displays a genuine desire to serve others without the need for fanfare Is always willing to help when needed
- Demonstrates exceptional reliability
Nomination criteria for either award:
- Any member of Fairmount College may submit nominations (faculty, staff or student).
- Nomination material must clearly address the award criteria.
- Nominators should provide specific examples of nominee's accomplishments.
- Individuals may be nominated for more than one award.
- Current members of the Fairmount College Staff Council are not eligible for nomination.
Nominations will be solicited annually in April.
