Mentoring is free for students and is a major contributor to academic and social success in college.

Shocker Mentorship Opportunities
College of Engineering
The ACE Mentoring Program is for incoming freshmen, transfer students and returning
adult students. The deadline to be paired with a mentor is fast approaching — July
31.

Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
The Fairmount Engaged mentor program enhances the student experience by linking students
one-on-one with an alum, industry or peer mentor. The college is currently accepting
mentor AND mentee applications.

College of Applied Studies
The Trailblazers program is a little different than some other mentor programs. Along
with being eligible for a scholarship up to $1,500, students receive mentorship and
professional development and gain community involvement experience. The deadline to
become a mentee is Aug. 12.
College of Fine Arts
The You Belong Here: Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program is an opportunity for new freshmen,
transfer and returning adult students to gain skills, resources and support to help
them succeed in their first year at 鶹ƽ State. The deadline to be paired with
a mentor is coming up — July 31.
