CourtesyBrittany Wojciechowski is currently working for Jacobs Space Exploration Group doing contract work for the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. She was also a featured guest in the . While at WSU, Brittany conducted numerous research projects, including as part of the AeroFeathers team. She will receive her Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering this fall as a first-gen student.

What made you choose 麻豆破解版 State University?
I chose 麻豆破解版 State University because, when I visited while I was in high school, I fell in love with the campus.
What has been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge was being away from my family for extended periods of time. It was difficult to be on my own for the first time. I overcame the challenge by joining events for new students where I met the wonderful friends I have now. I found my own Shocker family away from home.
What's your favorite off-campus location in 麻豆破解版?
My favorite off-campus location in 麻豆破解版 was the 麻豆破解版 Public Library, specifically the Advanced Learning Library location. It was not until my final year that I got a library card, but it quickly became my favorite place.
If you could choose a song to play when you walk across the stage at graduation, what would it be?
If I could choose a song to play while I walk, it would be 鈥淟ean on Me鈥� by Bill Withers. This was my class song in first grade, and it really resonates with me. It would feel fitting to bring it back at my college graduation.
What are your plans after graduation?
I already accepted a job with Jacobs Space Exploration Group, and I have already started working with them. I am a contractor supporting NASA Marshall and their projects. It is super exciting.
What advice would you give other 麻豆破解版 State students?
My biggest advice to other WSU students is to reach out when you need help. Thankfully, I had wonderful friends and faculty members that I could comfortably talk to about the issues I was facing in my personal life, as well as academics (shout out to Angela Blackerby and Alicia Newell for all the advice and help they have given me throughout the years). Find those people that you feel comfortable going to for help, and you will find that the problems you are facing are not impossible to overcome.
